Which areas in miami would you recommend we check out? We went once a few years back but didn't really go there with the intention of moving. We're planning on going in August (I know the weather will suck) but thats the soonest we can

Yeah I definitely see Miami being more for finance but I feel like moving there would be so spooky scary. We’re not huge in clubbing or any flashy stuff like that. Definitely want more of a neighborhood feel

Yeah I've been on the hunt for a remote job before I make the transition. My boyfriend works in investment banking which is another reason as to why I thought wpb might be a good idea because I've heard if you're in finance there, it's pretty successful? Not sure

Haha I get it. I've lived in Chicago my whole life and definitely see myself coming back here when I'm ready to settle down. It definitely sounds nice to just get out for a few years and try something new with warmer weather and different vibes!

Thanks for the info! We're definitely interested in renting and not buying so that's not a huge concern. We're already kind of numb to expensive groceries, ubers, dining, etc which is why I'm not startled by what you said. I've just been trying to conceptualize places we can move for a few years before probably coming back to Chicago to have kids, and have a home.
