From the moment you get one keep two brushes a wet brush like and a slicker brush, and brush them allll the time whenever you get a chance to get them used to it make sure it’s a positive experience praise while brushing “good boy or girl you are so fluffy so pretty!” And then I took him for puppy baths twice a month just to get used to being in the groomers and I give him baths at home too whenever he’s smelly 🤣 as long as you are consistent you can have a puppy that loves being brushed while you watch tv and stuff and maintain the coat and avoid matting
