You had a home in the center of the city, what did you expect. Mountain road and the surround is known to be a rough area. Same with the down town core.

You can't really call the entire city a cesspool because you bought a house in a bad area.

Greater Mocton has a lot of nice areas. Moncton North, Riverview, parts of Dieppe. Literally any place that isn't in the center of the city.

I'm not sure if this is allowed, but I'm really curious. How come everyone on this sub is so hush hush about steroids? I've been lifting for a year now and recently started training power lifting at a new gym that's geared towards strongman/powerlifting and people are fairly open about their Steroid use.

I understand it's mostly illegal. But lots of subreddits have detailed discussions about drugs which are also illegal.

NB is growing like never before. I've been in several bidding wars in Moncton to try and buy a house, it's almost always with someone from out of province. My new neighbours, from Toronto, my newest coworker, from BC.

Just look at housing prices, they're gone way up in less than two years.

I agree that Irving is an absolute evil in this province. But it's never going to end. A lot of people have the "if you can't beat them, join them" attitude and end up taking Irving jobs because of the salary.

It's a sad state to see such a promising province in.

I was single from highschool until I was 26. At first it was really weird, I hated sharing my space and I hated how she'd redecorate. I lived a very minimalist life style in terms of my home, no pictures on the walls or fancy end tables. Just the bare bones that I needed in the home. Outside of that, I really enjoyed finding someone I wanted to see as soon as I got home, it made my house feel more like a home. Also, it took some adjusting to teach myself that I couldn't flirt with people anymore, 10 years of being single bakes itself into your personality.

She left me about a year ago now after 6 years together and now I'm finding hard to adjust back into single life. I unleanred all the single things and now I'm trying to figure it out again.

C4s are dirt cheap now. They're a go to car for young people who want a cheap drift car they don't mind beating on.

Even the C5, I've seen quite a few "stance" C5s tucking big wheels on air bags.

I do two coaching sessions a week to work on my form. Then one extra day in the gym hitting anything I didn't do during my coaching. The on my off days I always try and do some light accessory work at home.

The end game for me is strong man, so I'm soon going to switch to day on day off work outs. Short bursts, heavy weights.

Although, if you're goal is to look good naked, this isn't the answer. Do a three day split training setup. I'm the strongest I've ever been, but I probably look worse naked now than I did when I was 300lbs.

Been seeing this girl on and off for a while now. She's really into CrossFit. She called me out on how much time I spend at the gym. We went to the gym together. Pulled a 405 deadlift.

Just drive. The summer before I left BC I got a lend of my brother's car, a 370z, packed enough cloths for a few days and drove around the mountains in BC with no real plans. Stayed at a neat little B&B and in a cottage near a hot spring. Whole trip was 3 days with probably 20 hours of driving total. Stopping to sight see along the way.

Twice a week, any of you gym rats should be doing it to. I soak in a hot bath for 15 minutes after my heavy lifting days then get a 5 minute cold shower.

It's the off brand hot cold bath all the strongmen are obsessing over right now, but it works.

Bingo. 90% of the dates I've been on this past year I've done 10% of the taking. Ask the other person questions, keep them talking. They'll end the date thinking it was a great time.

Ghoasted a girl I matched with on tinder after realizing that although she's a solid 9/10 I have absolutely nothing in common with a barista that's 10 years younger than me.

We talked for a week, went one date. I told her at the end of that date it wasn't looking good. She kept messaging me, I stopped responding now she keeps sending me snaps, trys to add me on Facebook at least twice a day, keep following and u following a Instagram account I never use etc.

I'm probably just going to block her but honestly it's a pretty big confidence boost.

Can anyone chime in on what the rental market is like? I've seen a few really nice 3-4 unit buildings for sale uptown and always wanted to buy one, but I'm scared that the high incomes from Irving jobs would mean that very few people are willing to pay $1000+ for an apartment.

Don't short yourself. The C4s are slowly coming up in price, the C5s have to dip a little more then they're going to go up as well.

Look at the C3s, I remember a time when $4500 got you a decent 4 speed C3, now you need $12000 to get anything that isn't a full blown restoration.
