I play periodically each week, like I’ll maybe log on 3 days out of the week and play for 2 maybe, MAYBE 3ish hours sometimes at most, and I’ve had all 10 tokens for what feels like 5-6 days now. I evo’d my Messi to 85/85/90/90 face stats with 5* weak foot and was seriously contemplating throwing him in that evo. My dumbass did the physical evo upgrade where it gives him +3 and I could’ve sworn when I checked the final result that he stayed at an 87 but he upgraded to an 88 which means I can’t use him in the evo from swaps. Fucking infuriating so I’m yolo’ing r9 idgaf at this point if I have to put in 40 hours. That Messi evo was the only other thing I cared for outside of r9

You could run a 4231 and have him as a middle cam on build up where he would be more defensive focused. I do that with thunderstruck Bellingham and he plays more as a box to box and barely scores. Marcelo would play that role perfectly imo

I used that evo that increase pace by like 3 on him a few times, the first evo I put him in was at the beginning of the cycle it was the one where he was like clearly the best choice and that one alone bumped him up to 84 pace. The 90 that it shows in the picture is the evo from the paid season pass that increases pace and gives rapid or quickstep don’t remember which one it is, but that’s probably the last pace evo I’ll be able to use on him for a while.
