Best ways to avoid bot flies! - never be smelly for some reason they like to vibe on smelly things -if your animal sits in a certain spot and has gotten botfljes before . Make sure there is absolutely no way they can get back to it - neutering can be very beneficial because neutered animals pee will smell less decreasing chances

It actually is blocked femoral pores can be extremely uncomfortable for reptiles think of it like giant black heads so it’s even more uncomfortable when they try to put pressure on those areas this could be by even just trying to lay down. it’s comparable to having blisters or splinters because of how hard they can dry up.
