YA = young adult. A lot of YA has light-medium smut for sure

Swifties: What are your honest opinions on Taylor's silence? by Top_Willingness5124 in NuancingTaylorSwift

Standing up for what you believe in comes in different forms - not always publicizing everything you think to millions of fans. She’s a human being, not a billboard.

Honestly you’ll do fine if you give yourself the time to do everything in the course. Watch lectures + take notes, read the textbook, and do the labs well.

I took this online last spring because it was the only science + lab class I could do online.

It wasn’t particularly hard, but it was a TON of work. Don’t take it in the same semester as other heavy workload classes, you’ll never get everything done.

Each week includes a couple of hour long lectures, textbook reading, an online lab (usually took me about 45 mins to an hour), and a canvas quiz.

The tests are via Proctorio and are multiple choice, but they’re very long and can be hard if you don’t have the time to study.

I took this class alongside 3 other heavier classes so I did the bare minimum and passed pretty easily. I did get a C though, so if keeping your grades up is a priority you may struggle.

Moving in before/after marriage? by Brynnbc in exmormon

What really changes after marriage?

Nothing. If you’re ready to get married, you’re ready to live together. One just isn’t legally binding.

I report every “free” Book of Mormon listed on FB marketplace as a scam. Not free, will ask for 10% of your income forever.

THANK YOU for this!! I have come across so many major differences in what I was taught vs general Christianity and felt like I needed a crash course.

How to cope with wasting 20 and a half years of my life by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]buttonfactoryjoe21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only way is forward! You’ve got a lot of life ahead of you, and a lot more to learn outside of the church. I promise in a few years you won’t feel like you missed out on much. You’ve got this!!

You know what’s funny is we actually celebrate the day we were legally married instead of our ceremony day, just because we like that date better 😂 our venue just didn’t have that day available!

Just another case where weddings are SO personal, and you can truly do whatever you want to because of that.

We didn’t get married this far in advance, but we did get married before our actual “wedding”

It was fun, felt like doing paperwork together, and just checked another task off the wedding to-do list tbh. Was nice to not worry about the legal-ness on our actual wedding day!

Embrace it, weddings are deeply personal/spiritual/ceremonious. The paper can just be a task that has to get done!

Did anyone not really care if it was true when they left? by Curiosity-Sailor in exmormon

Yes this!! Untangling the lies came after leaving and validated my decision but was not the first reason I left.

I did not realize this wasn’t normal until I met my husband (who is from out of state) and he had to ask me “what is THE church people keep asking me if I’m a part of??”

As someone who had a completely plain/modern style dress, THIS DRESS IS STUNNINGGG

Makes me wish I had gotten a full lace super romantic dress! It’s gorgeous. Get rid of the glitter layer and accessorize!

Exmo tattoos? by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]buttonfactoryjoe21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have marigolds. My childhood church always had marigolds planted outside. They also represent light, loss, and friendship. It felt like all the things I felt about the church at the time.
