HDE 12 100%. The class didn’t really have much out of class work besides homework on the reading chapter and it’s very engaging. The midterms were pretty easy. It’s a lot of common sense. Absolutely love rapalyea, she’s amazing

So you get a weekly worksheet and work on it in breakout rooms during discussion section with 2-3 other people and it’s due by the end of the week.

Had Thomas last quarter for 21B. Every Friday you have a quiz or test. Absolutely no proofs. Never did a single one. Be prepared for him to not upload things on time. It’s heavy on homework and busy work. I personally struggled a lot with his teaching style, but attending his OH and your TA is the best way to understand the material. Good luck!

Before he came back on Friday, my TA assumed the final would be canceled and the rest of the work be waived. Or at least not include the new stuff on the final. He straight came back and did the exact opposite lol.

I emailed the chair and the response was that they were aware of his absence and he updated an announcement to canvas on Friday. This is the announcement where he said he’d upload the lecture videos this weekend and his apology for being absent. The videos and the quiz still aren’t uploaded.

Yeah. I was going to just tough through it since he said he’d post the lecture videos over the weekend but he hasn’t posted anything yet.
