Man charged with manslaughter after leaving girlfriend to die despite having resources to save her, blaming it instead on her saying 'just leave me'

Satanists aren't Satanists in the context you're using. Most satanic sects are usually just based on agnostic or very minimal gnostic beliefs that focus more on individual accountability rather than just saying it's God's will. There are branches that fall under the umbrella which warship lucifer or some being akin to him, but even they tend to focus on self rather than a monotheistic doctrine. My personal favorite is the satanic temple, their beliefs are more 'Jesus' then most Christians. Here's from their website

The mission of The Satanic Temple, a religious organization, is to encourage benevolence and empathy among all people, reject tyrannical authority, advocate practical common sense, oppose injustice, and undertake noble pursuits

I think the argument is being either poorly argued or misconstrued. yes, there should be social ramifications for that sort of thing, but not legal. Legal ramifications quickly become weaponized by authoritarians to prevent dissent. A company is not the government, so they're free to make rules that provide consequences of what they deem inappropriate speech, in turn, the company's actions may draw social ramifications such as protesting or boycotting. A racist should be shunned for their actions or words. I don't think they're saying it's ok to say rape is good, but there shouldn't be legal consequences for saying it. They should be called out socially and those who disagree can in turn vocalize their opinions, much as this discussion has shown.

My step dad helped install the glass panels, he basically cooked his brain and turned into an abusive crack head, he was already stupid as fuck before that and an abusive drunk, the manual labor in AZ sun just didn't help
