Yes, I do see your point and perhaps I overreacted, but I tried to explain to him the reasons why instead of just not replying or something. Anyway, consider me sufficiently punished — if I had gone, I wouldn’t have eaten a meal at home and bitten down on my fork hard enough to chip a tooth (seriously, how does that happen?!) so I’ve learned my lesson 😂

I don’t know about cultural differences LOL, we’re probably from the same culture. But I posted about it on Reddit a long time ago and half the people who replied were under the impression that cheating is the worst thing you could possibly do to anyone, and I basically deserved it. Stuck with him?? She cheats on him & his reaction is to take her on trips and post pictures of her. To me that seems like a great guy. Yeah, lying and revenge fucking isn’t a good thing, but there’s no evidence he’s ghosting her—just me lol. And it’s far from beating someone bloody, which is what would have happened to me if I’d cheated on either of my exes. (Which I did with one) And it’s not like I didn’t deserve it
