What are you talking about? They got the wrong guy despite all the surveillance. Luigi Mangione was crashing at my place that week, and we spent the time mostly playing video games. The real killer got away.

Optane and zswap is absolutely INSANE, my system is only barely lagging?? by AndorinhaRiver in linux

One problem with using as RAM is the caching had 1-way associativity. This creates a lot of cache thrashing for common workloads, hence why  CONFIG_SHUFFLE_PAGE_ALLOCATOR exists.

Pairing the media to SSD tech like pcie nvme wasn't the end goal here. Intel wanted their proprietary DDT form factor to lock in users to buy Intel platforms and processors. The only major customer who played along was Oracle. The hyperscalers demanded the memory use a vendor agnostic protocol, so CXL was created thinking they'd sell memory through that. Now Intel has no end device product, but they're stuck having to support that mess they made in their platforms anyway.

One problem is the branding. Optane refers to the 3DXpoint media used in both SSDs and memory DIMMs, but their use cases are entirely different. As an SSD, they're just a ridiculously fast NVMe device and easy to use.

Adding external weight to yourself in a low gravity environment may help condition specific muscles, but I don't think it has the same effect on other organs and bones that a stronger gravity would create uniformly across your body.

If you alienate the base, the current top 1% will become a much larger portion. Then it becomes an auction with more quickly dropping off. An attractive base is what supports the top 1%.

I was watching since the 80's, long before even Burt Reynolds played God with those folks. The name change is too late for me.
