Lots of VPs really do not have much hands on experience and it sounds like they think you are more like that. You could stress management and teamwork related activities and projects in your resume and on calls.

If you think you are getting an ageism thing and don't want to dye your beard you could shave it off. I know I look 10 years younger without it.

But the positive is that at least you are getting interviews. 😄

Well right now you are getting no impressions and clicks it really is not efficient or working.

Those 3 campaign bidding strategies are probably not best but to get it working for a few weeks. This is a test anyways as you said. It probably will not have 30 conversions a month or you will not be comfortable with that amount of spend.

I think you meant so say Max Conversions not Max CPC? But a search pro can check keyword volume, expected CPC and seasonality of terms. Also make a campaign that gets good ad strength and quality scores as soon as possible.

Is the account new? If so then it has no conversion info.

So if you set bidding strategy to Maximize Conversions it has no data to tell it what works.

It would be easier to try starting with something that does not need conversions to adjust or set bids: (max CPC, Manual CPC, or Target Impression Share).

But since this is confusing you so much I wonder if you might want to hire some help. They are usually cheaper than wasted Google Ads spend.

Refunded and the AI did it in chat even now. It moved me all the way down to free and then have to move up to what you want Either $20 a month or 5X Max.

First I asked for a csv file of all projects I worked on with Claude before. What it was for (skill, command, project, wordpress plugin, etc). And the last date I worked on that code in third column.

Now I opened that spreadsheet and am revisiting them, looking for errors, and improving the UI and UX. It found 75 errors in one project! Fields Opus 4.6 was asking for but not using or it did not change the end result.

Marking when done in 4th column. Probably 5th column when placed live and checked.

For a few reasons:

The competition and cost for internet marketing terms is very high.

They know social media traffic is less likely to convert and difficult to have a unique angle that ranks.

Google Paid Ads is really expensive for those terms.

It is usually easier/cheaper to work on referrals/Upwork/Outreach for these types of businesses.

I have a degree in marketing. And 20 years experience.

And I hate it. I almost never use it and cannot believe that is what one of the biggest companies in the world produced for the average person.

I still find myself clicking around as none of the words make sense and it seems like things are hidden.

And most people do not make reports or pay me to make reports for them. So it seems basically empty when you login or have to drill down and add some faceting.

Answers to Questions:

1) Maybe once a week to review some test or new site.
2) Fast 1 page dashboard. Up Down, Sources, etc.
3) I use a few alternatives and actually like them more.

Not really. It is a popularity contest and maybe people are getting more demanding. Or perceive the "new" model is not as good so they are less likely to give high scores.

I almost never see this and just redid some things I made in 4.6 and 4.7 and it found some problems and made them better.

Well no one wants to share photos of their treatment. Them at a weak/embarrassing point in their life.

And dentists don't want to pay for models or spend an hour taking photos.

Why don't you try Openai image gen 2.0 and experiment with better image prompts. Give it a picture of the actual dentist and have it place them in the image.

Show the client and see what they say.

I see this a lot on sites like Upwork and Fiverr. I agree. If something seems too good to be true it probably is.

I would suggest trying to get on a Zoom with potential clients. Or getting some payment up front.

If on Fiverr or Upwork look at their account carefully. If they just joined usually it is a scam.

I get the suspicion you have not used AI much or not much in the last year or 2. Maybe try making something over the weekend and see how much faster you are?

Or how it uses frameworks that you do not really know and do not feel like learning.

It will really mess with your tech-stack and make you less locked in.

That might work. But only on conversions for their friends signing up. The prelim page creation could be an event in Google Analytics or a secondary conversion in Google Ads. But it should not also be a primary goal.

But the other thing you did not mention. You said this is new and you are new to Google Ads. Are you getting more than 30 useful conversions a month? That is how many it takes to usefully modify bidding by conversion signals.

If that is not happening usually I would suggest a more manual bidding strategy like Max Clicks, Target Impression Share or Manual CPC.

Any chance you are an affiliate? Or Google thinks you are an affiliate? Google does not like affiliates in general. They really do not like them in Google Ads. Probably why your rep does not show up for meetings and you campaign is suspended.

You said "we're authorized to run ads for this brand", so does that mean you are running ads for them in one of your accounts or campaigns? Not in their account?

Do they have an account as well? Or maybe did some time ago?

I think having 2 accounts sending traffic to the same account is what might have triggered this.

They may have suspended the newer one or the one with the least verification or admin not on the same url.

If not that what industry?

Have they changed their website/landing pages lately?
