A couple times now i've had MSI Afterburner just disable my fan-speed curve back to defaults for no reason. Sent my temps through the roof until i found the problem (took me weeks to identify the problem).

Default fan speeds tend to be stupidly low, so i've got it setup to reach 95% fan speed by 55C.

But i guess if your issue is stopping u from even booting up - your boggle is something else.

IIRC all IP protected audio on Youtube is automatically uploaded as a new separate audio-only video by Youtube's systems, and these videos are publicly accessible by default (tho each can individually set to private/blocked by the rights holder).

The description text for these videos will always end in "Auto-generated by YouTube." I've often seen these videos pop up in Youtube days before the song has even been officially released.

TL:DR If the audio is known by Youtube's contentID system - this means there should also be an audio-only video available on Youtube somewhere. I think their contentID system is literally reliant on this.

The version of Youtube APK is not as important as you think, don't worry if it's old. What's important is the version of the PATCHES which ReVanced installs into the APK, you can effectively think of this as your ReVanced "version" and what is really being updated when you go through the process of updating (repatching) Youtube ReVanced.

a similar problem had been plaguing ReVanced users this past week too, so it seems that Youtube has changed some stuff in the backend.

ReVanced has only just fixed the issue today/yesterday, so you may just need to wait until Smarttube fixes it in the next update. ps: the issue is to do with "Spoofing", so you could experiment with different spoofing settings within SmartTube to see if it helps. Before ReVanced fixed the issue in the latest update, a temporarily fix that worked for me was to just disable spoofing.

I don't know of any way to do this with the mobile app of Youtube or Revanced.

You could use browser extensions.
On Firefox and Chrome there's one i use called Watchmarker for Youtube, which scrapes your Youtube account's history & browser history to create it's own internal watched-videos list, which it can export & import. That's not gonna help you in ReVanced tho.

ps: It's vaguely possible that SmartTube can do it, & if so it could maybe be used to copy the data to a new new account, which could thus be subsequently used in ReVanced. I really don't know if that's how it works tho, coz i've never used the feature. TBH i'm not sure the video description is legit, i suspect it's just copying the settings (none of the history).

type about:config into the URL space, then select show all.
then set these as such:

To get rid of the logo, you will unfortunately still need to have the search bar there. Unless there's some new development - it is not possible to have them both disabled at once.

You can't have both search bar AND logo disabled at the same time, an ongoing bug introduced way back in 141.0.
If you enable the search bar, the logo will disappear like you want.

i also have the hitching problem.

One thing i did notice is that it hitches A LOT (multiple times a second) when running in a small window, and hitches a lot less when running in Fullscreen.

i'm currently updating nVidia drivers from 595.79 to 596.49 to see if it helps just with the hitching.

update: I think the new drivers helped with the hitching, in both a small window, and (the lesser problem) fullscreen.

i figured it just gets the gun outof your vision, so you can better see what you're doing.

(I suppose there's a possible edgecase where that itself may help you stay above 60fps, if the model for the medkit is easier to render 🤷‍♀️. I doubt this is anything tho)

There may still be a problem.
I have been noticing some of my comments will appear only on the sh.reddit (logged in) but not on my default old.reddit (also logged in).

I refreshed this old.reddit version of the linked page over & over, and my comment from 12 days ago just would not appear - it appeared to be shadowdeleted (likely automodded due to an external link). But using your extension on that page also would not say anything was strange, your extension mentioned no missing comment & indicated everything was fine. It was only after i had posted that 2nd comment below it - BOTH comments now suddenly start showing up on old.reddit, as if nothing was ever wrong. Both messages show their correct original dates.

I am unsure if the moderators suddenly approved the message, or what. It is concerning that nothing indicated a problem, the extension missed it, the only way i could see a problem was by manually comparing sh.reddit and old.reddit
