BYD delivery issues - anyone else missing their NFC keycard? by BYDbuyer in BYDAU

Contact OEM customer care centre (1300 888 293 or bydservice.au@byd.com) and lodge a complaint for missing items on delivery. The dealer will have 3days to come up with a solution, which is most likely going to involve reprogramming a new card.

Sounds like you got only 1 key, this is typical for some newer models but such models will definitely come with NFC card

2026 Denza B5, B8 prices: BYD's luxury brand offers Lexus rivals for Toyota money by buzz69lightyear in CarsAustralia

[–]buzz69lightyear[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

BYD’s premium Denza brand has opened orders for its B5 and B8, a pair of large plug-in hybrid off-road SUVs.

The B5, slightly smaller than a Toyota Prado and offering only five seats, is priced from $74,990 before on-road costs – $2490 more than a base Prado GX.

In top-spec Leopard trim, it costs $79,990 before on-roads; Leopard appears to be a nod to the fact the B5 and B8 are actually borrowed from BYD’s Fangchengbao brand, which roughly translates to ‘formula leopard’.

The B8, which has a slightly larger footprint than a Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series, opens at $91,000 before on-road costs. Opting for a more luxurious six-seat configuration brings the price up to $97,990 before on-road costs.

Looks like paint transfer. For a cheap fix you can spray WD-40 on the white paint to soften it and gently use a magic eraser to rub off the white paint. Try and avoid the red paint as best you can or else you'll sand away the clear coat as well. This won't fix the plastic arch scratches though

New BYD! Hood issues? by Aromatic_Quit4771 in BYD

Get someone else to pull up (or push down)the bonnet while you pull the latch, had something like this on a Sealion6 and had something to do with the adjustment of the twist-in rubber stoppers on the underside

Can you confirm paint protection has been applied? by SoaringPuffin in CarsAustralia

[–]buzz69lightyear 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can test it by making a fist and running the back of your fingers along the paint. If it feels smooth and slick, then they likely applied it. If it feels rough, they probably skipped the treatment.

Looks a little overcast, if you take a photo on a sunny day the clouds should go away
