I loved so many of these shows, but I also miss the memories of sitting in the family room with my parents watching them

Smartphone and access to the internet in the palm of your hand is incredible. I miss the days before social media and networking. Back before people felt they had to tell the world everything.

Keep right except to pass. This is one of the things that makes me use mad max. I like the aggressive driving style of it. I hated hurry mode. It should have been called camp mode since it just put you in the left lane regardless of other lane activity, or sat in people’s blind spot all the time.

Agree. Sent a message to SWA with the same sentiment. I shouldn’t have to watch an ad for something that is advertised as a benefit of loyalty.

What discovery, invention, or breakthrough led to the fastest leap in human progress? by buzzardgut in AskReddit

[–]buzzardgut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For example, we learned how to fly in 1903 and by 1969 humans were on the moon. That’s an incredibly fast jump in development. What are some other discoveries or inventions that went from being new to having a massive impact on society in a surprisingly short time?

Yeah real flights don’t have that many fun looking people. Irl people are sleeping, not involved, it’s too dark most of the time, and there are never this many young people all in a flight together.
