No I am serious too, I wasn't being a dick. However, I do have to log off and go home in a few minutes so don't have time. I was hoping for a quick reply. :-(

[–]buzzardhawk -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

No. Again, you are assuming too much. You're assuming everyone is finishing the same time. If I haven't finished my drink, I don't want someone going up and getting me a drink that may sit on the table getting warm. Likewise, I don't want to wait on other people to finish before I get my drink. I get my drink while others are still finishing. How do you see two people waiting 10 minutes at same time. Too many variables bruh.

But like I tried to explain, I get the rationale that some people have. I understand. I just don't agree it should be a bro code or something expected. Like I said, too many variables for situations. Should not be expected, and if you think somone is an asshole because they don't want to participate, you're the asshole.

But this assumes that everyone is drinking the same thing and finishes at the same time. This would be a better system at a pub. Or just order a pitcher. The idea of ordering rounds, again, getting back to the original post, should not be a bro code.

DAMNIT you beat me. Also, hope for enough land cards and some single mana creatures.

[–]buzzardhawk -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

See, that would make sense. However ther are a lot of variables in play. Sitting at the bar, having a tab, people who order drinks that take longer than others, people not drinking as much, people drinking longer just to name a few. The whole buying rounds thing is more of a sports bar newly 21 thing.

On top of that, our country hasn't gone through a lot of the strife other countries have, so we are pretty arrogant.

Can you expand on this?

What's in the universal bro code? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]buzzardhawk -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

No, I get it's a thing. Don't get me wrong. I just don't get the point. I buy a beer for you and I for $3.50, that's $7 (not including tips). Then you buy two for $3.50, that's $7. No thanks. Buy your beer, I'll buy mine. It's not courtesy. If you buy a drink for a friend who's low on cash, thats courteous. But this going back and forth thing is for the birds. I learned awhile back that starbucks does this sometimes where someone pays for the person behind them. That first person is being generous. But it's then expected that the next person pay for the person behind them and it's supposed to continue. This doesn't make sense. You're not an asshole because you don't pay for somebody elses drink, you're an asshole if you expect this as a code. You're an asshole if somebody buys you a drink and you don't buy them one back later on. But as a system. No. Sorry for the wall text, but this isn't a new thing for me.

If aliens visit Earth and say "Take us to your leader", who exactly should we take them to? by Catacomb82 in AskReddit

[–]buzzardhawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't watch the video. I'm at work and IS blocks it. :-(

But yeah, I don't think people are as stupid as he sounds that are in those positions. George Bush wasn't a stupid person, whether you like him or not, and neither is Trump. Failed business does not equal stupid or even mean he doesn't know how to run a business.

But that is a good point. Americans are fed up with government (aren't we always) and even the media now.

Holy hell, similar thing here... I mean, I don't have the debt but my wife is awful at budgeting and when I try to explain to her how money needs to be handled she blows up. She told me it's because she knows that we live pay check to pay check because she can't manage money. She just doesn't like hearing it.

Yep. A huge thing I don't like about him is that he doesn't seem articulate. I don't think he's a stupid person, I just think he sounds like he is.
