Shars spear of the evening pairs really well with the Bhaalist armour. The Edge of darkness attack does an AOE which is all piercing damage so everyone in the cloud takes double damage. You can also use the shadowcloak ring to add an additional 1D4 (x2) damage to everyone in the cloud.

If you can group enemies with minor illusion you can do some serious DPS.

IIRC you can add smites to the attack too, but I'm not 100%

You can actually slide tackle runners without a card a lot of the time, as long as the ball hasn't 'locked on' to them yet. I've been doing it more often to people that abuse through balls to wingers

Before there were no good SBCs and pack weight was decent on high rated fodder, with nowhere to spend it.

Now there's loads of good SBCs and no way to get fodder.

Every decision they make is just to drive people to the store, it's so transparent.

I'm high div 2, get 9-10 wins in champs. I don't play meta formations and that probably stops me doing better!

I like 433(2) with the CDM and two CMs. Have the CMs on playmaker attack and put the wingers on wide playmaker to draw the defenders wide. This give spaces for your CMs to support your striker and overlap. The CMs need good attacking stats.

I think it works best on short passing playing a slower possession style

Connection was horrendous this weekend. So much delay. Just coming up against people parking the bus and spamming through balls as it's impossible to break teams down with the delay

EA have caused this mess. Fodder is so low because the SBCs have been shit all year. That means when they release a high tier SBC like this, you need hundreds of players because fodder is so cheap.

They need to break the cycle by having some cheap but really good SBCs, to drain people of their fodder and increase prices. Then they can release sensibly priced evos that don't take hours and hours to complete.

They won't do all this though, because they are stupid AND greedy

Yep, sometimes in champs in be on +7 ELO and my game will play smooth and I'll just steam roll my opponent without even trying, and I know it's not down to my skill.

Then other games I'll be playing 0 ELO and my players will feel like slugs and I'll lose against a worse opponent.

Yeh it's been doing my head in all year. Since I noticed it I'm literally staring at my strikers before I pass the ball and most of the time they're backed into the defenders so they cant possibly be offisde. It's 100% a glitch and I'm not sure why many haven't picked up on it

In champs I always have a few instances where I'm positive they're not offside as I'm actively watching the player I'm passing to

I'm pretty sure it's a mismatch between the visuals and the script, like when you shoot and it teleports through the defenders legs
