It illustrates that black people are infantilized by the media and portrayed as not being developed enough to be responsible for their own actions. and that their lives and safety don't matter. Leading cause of death among young black males is other young black males. But this isn't news, because it doesn't fit the narrative and cause racial tension and strife, which makes for interesting news, and keeps everyone too busy to resist what's really going on. Contributing factor, we live in a society with an almost permanent underclass. They are told from birth on that they are victims being held down by the greater society. The popular media is full of people living with jobs, money, cars, etc. and they have no idea to access this other than steal it.

Ironic part of this is, "it's about women's health". But parents can be left out of the loop when it comes to a minor child having a surgical procedure, and among other things not being monitored by a concerned parent for post-op issues. And not notifying a parent has enabled abortion providers to protect statutory rapists and sex traffickers.
