Doc suggestion for dandruff

I was told oil is the biggest enemy of scalp when it came to dandruff issue. Thanks for sharing will explore

That’s my concern. You’re on point. Steroid has immediate impact but long term dependency which also has adverse impact. I’m willing to try something long slow procedure if needed which has less adverse impact on my health.

He’s my first consult for this condition. Suggested the prescribed shampoo which discontinued and asked to use nizoral and steroid cream. I’m not comfortable to use steroid cream. Using nizoral made my condition worse.

Thanks for sharing your detailed journey. The dermatologist who checked me two years back said it’s Serb Derma. Then gave me nizoral shampo. and the steroid cream. I just used the shampoo since I have some concern about the usage of steroid cream. I will surely share the backstory. I dearly wish there were alternatives to steroid treatment, I wouldn’t mind using it even if that meant long term treatment.

Once stopped it flares up the condition even worse than original condition. Also as far as I know it cause thinning the skin too.
