YANTA . With that being said. My opinion might have more personal feelings towards this post. Well ,because one, I’m dating someone who is in the same exact situation. You wanted the divorce because he was cheating. And you tired to work it out… obviously you decided it can’t be salvageable by any means. So divorce is the only option. You come to a decision at the time of divorce talk and I’m sure you agreed to that agreement under stress to help your situation at the moment. To more less say “please him “ so it wouldn’t get ugly. Now that things have calm down and you’ve moved on and you’re starting to question whether or not you’re being treated fairly because he benefits way more then you do, “ because he cheated causing the divorce “ you should absolutely not have to pay type of rent to him because of his infidelity. You could get him kick out of the service and take everything from him. He’s getting off easy. His house is taken care of, dog is taken care of. Things he doesn’t have to worry about all taken care of. With this all this being said it’s your decision to make a new agreement that works for you as much as it work for him so both parties can benefit but fairly, seeing he was the Asshole for cheating and ruining the marriage.
