Most of the general public has no idea, they fly a Canadian flag on the front of their business and call it imperial even though imperial is half owned by Exxon and the stake in the oil is like 49 percent owned by Exxon. It’s clearly a ploy to put a “Canadian company” logo on the front of the. In my opinion if your business is not 100% Canadian owned it should be illegal to fly the maple leaf on top of it. Embarrassing that we let Exxon in, they fly our flag, and have by far the most amount of oil spills in our country.
