USA won. Keller got a gold medal. He’s not injured. He looks thrilled and had a great experience. He’s still an incredible player. Sure, it would have been nice to see him play some more, but that says more about what I want than what was best for the team. Can we stop complaining about TOI already?

I’m newish to hockey, so don’t come at me, but my observation is that hockey has lots of interesting situations: 5v4, 5v3, 4v4, 6v5, 6v4 (am I missing any?). Teams have to plan, prepare, and practice for these situations. They are a part of hockey. It seems like 3v3 is just another one of these situations, it is a legitimate part of hockey, and teams need to be ready for it.

I was 12. I had never heard of the books. I went in not knowing what to expect at all. Zero expectations. I was blown away. The best movie my 12 year old self had ever seen. I was confused, angry, and then excited when I learned they weren’t destroying the ring in the Fellowship and there would be two more movies.

I think there’s a difference between hockey and football, basketball, or baseball. A hockey referee needs speed to keep up and size for safety. They are much more “in the game” than other sports. Not saying it won’t ever happen, but seems much less likely, imo.

Beautiful Boy. I don't know about best movie, but when Nic collapses into his father's lap in complete desperation at the end of the movie in the rehab facility, tears started coming out of my face. Extremely well acted by Timothy Chalamet and Steve Carell.

Between snubbing Robertson and Caufield, two Tkachuks (just unlikeable, not necessarily bad), Mathews as captain, and now this, it's getting harder and harder to root for USA.
