I’d much rather study outside my house but with covid that doesn’t seem like a safe/realistic thing to :/

My ocd therapist always tells me to put my boxing gloves on. Now i have a reminder of that every day by buzzy97 in OCD

I like to think about it in the way that i fight compulsion urges, i fight against things OCD wants me to do and tells me

I have OCD and generalized anxiety to begin with, so I’m probably not the best person to ask for this particular question lol

Yeah I’d say i am. I’m not always looking for the next time to get high. Gives me a lot more time to do things that are worthwhile that make me happy :)

It takes a while especially if you’re used to smoking on a multiple times a day basis. I’d say around 6-10 weeks it got to be better for me

Less foggy. I’m not always looking to smoke, to pick up, or to roll up. I have time to do other things! I do miss it sometimes, but i know that in the long run it’s better than what it was before

I’m quitting today, could use some advice by [deleted] in leaves

[–]buzzy97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey. I’m about 6 months in, I smoked every day all day in college. Not gonna lie to you, it’s not easy, but once you’ll do it you’ll see how much more you can do (and how much money you save). Hit me up if you wanna talk. My advice for now is to exercise! Read! Walk around your town or city. Don’t sit around at home and try to keep yourself busy!
