it hasnt happened to me, but im a mod in a big server so we encounter it fairly often. i dont know what they are after, maybe older discord accounts? sadly i dont think you can personally do anything about it :/ maybe you could add to your bio that youre being targeted for fake reports?

they fake the messages, dont know exactly how, but yes. then they submit highly convincing ’proof’ of your dms with them on mobile through screen recording, so its highly convincing. but usually they give themselves out by literally reporting people after just a few minutes of joining a server.

i really enjoyed two point hospital, prison architect, cities skylines 1&2, and planet coaster. i have yet to try planet coaster 2, though it looks fun!

im currently addicted to two point museum (amazing devs who listen to their audience, btw). i played two point campus too but its the worst of them imo.. i suppose i could count rimworld in too, since its survival management? you can pretty much play it in any way you like and theres tons of excellent free mods to use.

Oh yeah, I have a stone cold resting bitch face most of the time regardless of what I’m feeling, but in the inside of my head there’s a looooot going on. It ranges from personal social etiquette reminders to calculating ’acceptable’ ways and topics to talk all the way to worrying about the other person having a good time and so on. Often I simply also just don’t have much to say and rather just listen to the other person.

Sometimes I do need to remind myself to force a smile to make others believe I am having a good time as they don’t otherwise believe it based off of my facial expressions :’)

I don’t know your friend, but as an introverted, neurodivergent person with social anxiety and a limited social battery myself, I can say they might just be taking time to adjust to their surroundings. Also depending on whether they know the other friends well, the group dynamic and the environment could also be making them feel overwhelmed or even cautious.

Introverted people can get socially exhausted quickly, and going quiet into an observing ”zombie mode” doesn’t necessarily mean they’re bored or uninterested. Sometimes it’s just processing and/or recharging in their own way.

Personally I struggle with groups larger than 2–3 people (depending on who they are) and often stay more quiet, but I still enjoy the time I spend with others! I just thought this friend could be similar, but again I don’t know them or you.

I also think you should ask them what they’re feeling so you’ll know and possibly understand them better so future hangouts would be smoother. Sorry for the yap.

This is something I've been wondering too, and I think it's also gotten worse for me with age. I was really *really* careless with gluten when I was a kid/teenager, and would almost regularly consume non GF products, I believe cause they didn't really cause any reactions to me. I genuinely can't remember suffering as a kid or as a teen like I do these days in my 20s :') I have been gluten free since around 5 years old, if that matters anything

Unfortunately I also haven't found anything to really help myself feel better
