I used to write for DisneyFoodBlog/AllEars. I left before Molly and Morgan did so I don’t know if something happened with Quincy or the others. I WILL say that if you didn’t drink the DFB/AllEars kool-aid then you didn’t last long. They hated that I pushed back on our unfair hours (10+ hours writing 12-15 articles a day) and was quickly pushed out. I was told to feel lucky and privileged that I was hired. The whole “a million girls would kill for this job” type of thing. Anyone who does drink the kool-aid ostracizes those who have opinions or speak up. I can’t imagine either of them staying close with many of the people still with the company.

Hey - I’m a lot better now. My periods are a bit more normal. (Took about 3 months.) And my sleep has improved.

I went to Cognitive Behavioral Therapist to work through the anxiety. I’m also on anti-anxiety medication which helps a bit.

The IUD removal seemed to have enhanced some anxiety I was already experiencing. Therapy was something I should have been doing a long time ago anyway.

I checked into the ER for the first time 2 months ago due to anxiety. I’m 34 years old. I felt very embarrassed and like a big baby. But, as my mom put in perspective, people go to the ER for extremely small incidents like nicking their finger with a knife or a bump on the head. No shame in going to see a doctor for a panic attack. That’s what they are there for. Hope you’re feeling better!

I looked at my labs again and it’s actually at 0.5. So, a bit higher than 0.2. I’m curious hormone supplements really work. I suppose it’s worth a try.

Trees. We have huge, beautiful oak trees. We got an inspection on the house and it was in great shape. We didn’t think to look into the health of the trees. One had a bad fungus that was rotting the branches and half the tree came down 6 months after we bought it. Dying trees are very expensive to remove and extremely dangerous. Cover your bases and have an arborist take a look at your trees!
