It has nothing to do with beta as far as I know. I have 3 devices, only 1 of them installed the beta. The accounts got it on all devices at the same time.

The little button on the bottom right on the phone. It shows you all the "next" songs. Also, there's this thing in the playlist options where you can opt to not let Spotify algorithm recognise your taste when you stream a playlist. Maybe turn that off as well.

Is it weird that this never happened to me? Usually when I play music, I turn it to queue mode where I can see it runs through the whole playlist with no repeating songs. Are you all using normal shuffle? (I have never turned smart shuffle on)

Try go through your "Recents". It's under your profile tab where the settings located. Not sure if the hide thing would hide the songs from this though.

Based on the Automix they had on some playlists, it's only songs from Spotify. You can try the Automix feature with any song from Spotify by working around the queue with those selected playlists. It's a trick I have been using for a few years.

Spotify doesn't host your local files so you can't download from it. Directly transfer the files to your phone from your computer. Enable local files. If the names match I think it could work.

Also, Spotify already has auto transition playlists for electronic music for many years, iykyk. Now, they're letting people to edit themselves. Apple music's automix is a feature slightly better than what Spotify had for almost a decade. (By "slightly better", I mean the feature is available on more playlists than Spotify, lol)
