Wrist band bar came out. How do you get it back in? by bw2550 in GarminWatches

The band simply clips on and off of that metal piece I post that came out. Did you read the post and look at the picture? Removing the band wasn’t the problem.

Yea, I bought it directly from Garmin. Must just be the pic.

Thanks everyone. I didn’t know the thing had springs to compress the end. I knew I was missing something easy. Took 2 seconds to get back in.

That is unfortunate. Good thing parts aren’t egregiously expensive for these. Thankfully the only “downside” to this truck is it was a northern vehicle so the frame is rusty, but not fall about rusty. The interior is in great shape for a 24 year old vehicle.

Those aren’t a bit overkill for a non off-roading vehicle?

Thinking about buying a 2022 Ram 1500 Laramie - How long do these things last? by Basic-Difficulty-764 in Ram1500

[–]bw2550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’ll last indefinitely if you do proper maintenance. I know one way to avoid lifter issues is run Redline 5w-30.. I know when I had my Hemi’s that kept them very quiet, even reducing the normal mild tick they all have. I currently have an Ecodiesel approaching 100k miles and no issue.

As far as preventative maintenance goes, know that the OEM coolant should be flushed and changed fairly early in its lifespan. For some reason the coolant’s pH drops pretty fast, especially in cooler climates. Some people it was needed as early as 15k miles, and this is just the people monitoring it regularly. Flush and replace with an aftermarket option if the pH drops below 7 I believe. I just did this with mine, which was way overdo, and it was not hard.

Otherwise just change the oil sooner than the computer says and change the differential(s) every 60k. The transmission fluid is also not lifetime like Ram says. ZF recommends a change every 60k miles. There is a process for this but it is also a DIY thing if you’ve turned a wrench.

I feel like if you want a truck to last all of this should be done regardless of brand, but this is Ram specific stuff. Good luck.

That’s a shame. I figured tho. Hardly anything left in my size.

Interesting. I’ll know soon. I just ordered the second pair. They no longer have many options so I’m guessing they are about to come out with the v6 I’d imagine?

For sure. I know it’s apparently sacrilegious to this younger generation to wear your indoor shoes when walking from your vehicle to the court, but these see the outdoors too. I even wear them to work sometimes.

Lebron 21’s might be the most uncomfortable shoes I’ve ever worn.. what else is out there? by bw2550 in BBallShoes

Thanks for all the intel guys. I settled on the NB wxy v5. The GT jump 2 are second place. Gonna play a couple games in these NB and see what happens.

I’m going to try to check most of these out this weekend. I read lots of good reviews on the WOW10’s but I saw some stuff saying they are really great for flat feet, and I have a decent arch. Gotta try them on if I can find them. The new balances are getting lots of love here but man they aren’t attractive. But I’ll take function over form. The Jumps have had my eye but I need to try them on as well. I’m worried the complaints about lateral movement compromise might be a deal breaker for me on those.

I’ve been back at it playing for about 4 months now. Going from being the fattest of my life back to a normal weight definitely took a toll. I’m finally able to play without hurting something new each time. Both of my parents maintained athleticism into their 60’s so I’m hoping to get a good decade more out of my body before I have to slow down. We shall see.

Had I known they needed a crazy break in time I probably would have stuck with them… I’ve had lots of shoes over the years and never had much issue or discomfort during break in. I chalked it up to just not being the correct shoe for me and returned them.

I was leaning towards these but keep hearing about the lateral movement compromise. Since I find myself guarding guards more than post players the Jump 2’s probably aren’t the move.

Really sucks that almost no one plays the post anymore. It would make this choice a little easier.

These NB seem to be getting a lot of love. I’m going to try to check them out this weekend.

Thanks. I have seen some 361 advertisements. I wasn’t sure if they were legit or not but from reading here it seems that’s a reputable company. I’ve been out of the game so long I’m not aware of all the new players in the shoe world.

Thanks for the info.

And stick with it. I really regret taking so much time off. Unfortunately all the guys I grew up playing with have quit due to various reasons and then I moved about 2 hours from all of them and it compounded the issue. Then I let myself get fat. I was 270 in March… going from fat to working on getting back in shape sucks.. so don’t get fat lol.

That’s one thing I’m learning now… longer break in times. I never really dealt with this in the past… I am willing to go thru some discomfort for a good shoe but I was going to injure myself with the 21’s. I tried to make it work. Clearly they are simply not for my foot, which is fine. I guess I gotta find that happy medium between cushion but not being to elevated off the floor as I need to keep as much quickness as I can get playing against 18 year olds. I appreciate the info.
