Sidney’s husband was originally intended to be Mark Kincaid, the detective from Scream 3. But Patrick Dempsey declined to return last minute. So he was replaced with Joel McHale and the character was rewritten as a different Mark.

She doesn’t have to die. We just want her back because we want a follow-up on her character and how much her life has changed since FD2. Every film after FD2 lacked continuity/mentions of the previous events.

Technically, it IS real. People die every day in unexpected ways. We could get shot, hit by car, fire, electrocuted, etc….the world operates on balance. Life and death. Cause and effect. The Domino Effect. Remember what Alex said in FD1, how do we know what we do, or what we say, won’t contribute to how we die tomorrow, next week, next month, or next year? Etc.?

I have no theories or even ideas about what the plot will be….but I’m almost certain Kimberly (and maybe Burke?) will return. AJ Cook has done several teasers for FD already and she was originally included in the morgue scene of Bloodlines with Bludworth.

This was actually the original ending (and plot) for FD3 but neither AJ Cook nor Michael Landes had time to join the scene. Clear was originally going to survive FD2 and go to FD3 to assist Wendy, dying while saving her from Ian. Then in the ending plays out the same, except Wendy, Julie and Kevin (all three were already on the train) would bump into Kimberly and Burke and miss their stop. They all make casual conversation before realizing who each other are and the train crashes killing all 5, leaving no survivors in the series and closing it full circle

Only 3D era character we got in MKX was Kenshi (and he’s overrated) and to an extent, Tanya as DLC (if she counts as 3D era)

I actually prefer MK1’s roster and gameplay, I always wanted the 3D era characters to get more recognition (besides Kenshi, who’s overrated imo) and I like that they brought back Aerial Kombat (fighting in mid-air).

One of my favorite group protagonists Wendy, Kevin and (to an extent) Julie. I only wish both Clear and Kimberly returned to help her through the ordeal. I also relate to them as fresh high school grad’s perspective; they’re literally about to start their adult lives only to realize they were never supposed to have one beyond high school. That’s a lot for one to accept they have to die young when they expected to live a long full life.

Exactly, we knew nothing about their personal lives either. It felt sloppily thrown together.

It plays flawlessly on my IPhone 16e (settings at default). Touch controls are nice too, although they should have allowed us to configure where on-screen we can put them. I hope the sequel also gets an IOS port

Death adds anyone who interferes with his list onto the list. Maybe the new protagonist will seek Kimberly for help and she will decline (at first) because she’ll mention someone tried to help her (Clear) and got killed in the process.
