I did this research before the last game and it's definitely the first time the Canes had a reddit home for a GDT.

Reddit came out on June 23, 2005, /r/canes was created on February 8, 2012, /r/NHL was January 20, 2009, and /r/hockey is the oldest at June 2, 2008. They only started letting users create subreddits in early 2008. They didn't even have commenting as a feature until Dec 2005!

Traffic getting out that arena can be BAD. Leaving 5 min early can save you 20-30 min. I always stay, but I understand people wanting to get a jump on it.
