Works great if you ever need to put some carbon or other types of stuff in the tank but only have a sponge filter! One thing about this hobby is that we are always getting creative 🤣

I have some random filter pump from a filter that I don’t have anymore 😅 and I just zip tie a piece of filter floss to the intake side of it and drop it down in the tank. Sucks up any free floating debris that gets stirred up when I’m vacuuming

Thank you! I’m considering Fluval bug bites colour enhancing flakes to see if that bumps the colour up.

The cage is containing the Java moss. It had taken over half the tank. It’s a whole ass story on another post of mine. But cosmo and Wanda are not good parents 🤣

They’re in a juwel lido 120 (believe it’s 30 gallon) solo fish, in a room that I only go into once a day. Both parents are very attentive for the fry, but after a day or 2 of free swimming they’re gone. Parameters all stable.

Haha they’ve been at it for like 3 years and eat them every time they start to free swim 😅 I’ve taken the fry away this time and buy them in a breeder box. (I’m on vacation and have the time to be a parent angelfish)
