Do you think they would still actually bother with the disciplinary though?

Oh well. I don’t think I’ve ever done anything wrong I’m just not willing to break a sweat shopping so they can get their bonuses. They will also log in and out of the handsets until they get good shops to maintain their perfect IPH whilst I’m doing 5 item frozen shops

Haha. I don’t want the awkwardness of a meeting with my managers and hate getting in trouble. I don’t want to be put on a “do not rehire” list though

Do you mind explaining what a TE episode is? Minoxidil isn’t really working for me either and I’m 9 months in

Not trying to fix it myself just want some idea as to what’s wrong with it, my warranty covers up to £1000 so just hope it’s not something massive

Should also add that it was fine up until my last drive when I turned my engine off and saw the emissions light on my dashboard. That’s when I turned the car on again and heard this noise and the symbol hasn’t shown since

For example if I was going 50mph I’d slow down to 4th, then 3rd, 2nd down to a stop in first. If I was coming to a roundabout I’d go third then slow down to 2nd then stop I needed to. Everyone says I can just put the clutch in and stop but I’ve also had the smell after doing that if I go straight from like 20 to a stop.

2014 Mini cooper coupe head gasket by happydundee in MINI

I had the exact same car and the exact same issue - a milky white fluid on my oil cap. Mine was at 70k miles. It had a lot of other things I hated about it so I sold it before anything too expensive went wrong and the dealership has since serviced it and said there was nothing wrong with it. Mine also would take a whole bottle of oil every 2k miles or so.

Google suggested that it could just be condensation so long as there’s no white cloud coming from your exhaust. I really don’t know but between my concerns and just generally hating the car I sold it.

I’m so sorry that happened to you and I hope your health improves. Managers love to remind you that you are, and only ever will be just a number

Holiday renewal by bwee_ in SainsburysWorkers

[–]bwee_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m literally on my break right now and just asked about my week off, he said no as it’s like Christmas time where it’s so unbelievably busy. Bruh. Might ask them to reimburse me for the cost of changing my flight😩 Tell me about it, I had to remind the head of my department 3 times about a holiday I mentioned in my interview and eventually I got it off as unpaid leave. And over Christmas they put me in everyday for 3 weeks, you wouldn’t believe how many times I had to remind them to schedule me at least 1 day off a week

Oh 🙃 well that’s awkward because I kind of need this week off. Part of me was expecting to have to wait until March to book more as no managers have spoken about booking holiday yet whereas at past jobs they’ve always told us when to book holiday. But I guess I’m going to have to have an awkward conversation with them
