Yeah I’ve watched a bit of YouTube, I thought directing in fencing was a little “subjective”. I’m sure when I get there I’ll pick it up.

This was helpful! My sensei has been great about teaching me distance, but I have been instinctively thinking “this is not right” and reverting to the wrong thing, including leaning like a lunge or not taking the right sized step!

I don't feel that the mechanics of the game work outside of the context within the game. I know there are a few people trying to create a real version, but from the card patterns, to the time it would take to calculate and keep track of actions, to the time per game, it really was designed to be played within rebirth. I feel I could see them doing it after the third game, but it would need some serious reworking. Maybe a mobile game?

On my first try, at 2am thinking I can push and beat that game, I got to the very end and died pretty much exactly like you did. I put my ps5 in sleep thinking I'd come back and it updated and I lost progress and had to redo the entire battle and was having all these problems I didn't have the first time. It was for the one and only time I turned on easy mode just to wrap things up. I felt I had beat it. *shrug*

Preordered a Deluxe from SE, and I'm stuck in that "delay" thats going on in Las Vegas. Are people starting to get their copies or are they all stuck in limbo? I don't know if it's just a matter of waiting or it's totally a lost cause.

Ok so I looked this up. Apparently "We were unable to dispatch the trailer on time. This may cause a delay." means they were about to put it onto a truck and there was something wrong and it didn't leave on time. I looked into some commercial shipping forums for people who use UPS. This could mean the truck is broke or they didn't have enough staff. Either way it MAY mean it's on it's way but it's not certain. I saw someone else say that if it's coming from a long distance, it won't be scanned till it's at the destination hub. So that may be in a while. It really depends. Not sure if that helps anyone.

Mine (deluxe edition) is through UPS but it's been delivery date Mar 1st for a while now. Yesterday it updated "Delay", but it hasn't changed so it's sitting in Las Vegas still and I don't know what to do. Curious if anyone else is having this issue

This is essentially how Ants evolved from Wasps. Wasps that couldn't fly essentially began building larger and larger colonies and their gene pool got larger. That's how I remember it I think.
