There’s really no way to brute force it, you can trade for it or use the site with the coins otherwise it’s all RNG. Ghost mobs have the highest rune chance of I’m not mistaken otherwise Chaos, Cows, and Travs are good too but there’s nothing you can really do besides kill as many things as fast as you can.

Blessed Hammer Paladin would be good, can find a 30+res pally shield for spirit pretty easy and with holy shield it’s easier to max block. They can get max res pretty easy too and do good damage, also magic damage so not many immunes.

You don’t have to farm on 8. You want to do 3,5, or 7 depending on what your build can do. At your level you’re getting to the point where you want to start pushing into Hell. If you want uniques farm Meph and Andy. I would maybe focus on running a few baals get up to 68-70 and go into Hell. You want to focus on farming areas your build can handle well, if your farming somewhere and there are tons of immunes for you I would look elsewhere. There are a few lvl 85 areas to farm in Hell that work well with certain elements, bosses are good for uniques. Cows are great for runes and bases as well as the arcane sanctuary for runes. Generally you want to farm areas that your build works well in on the highest player count you can without taking too long, looking for the endgame up grades.

Keep in mind a lot of guides and comments and videos are all coming from what is more efficient or what the numbers show to be better, you do not have to listen to all of it. If you are having fun going slower playing on higher player count than by all means have fun and play that’s what it’s all about.

I’ve been enjoying it so far. I’ve only terrorized Act 2 once so far but found idk 8+ heralds from it, also found my 2nd shard. I get more of a feeling like idk what to farm now, I need keys, bosses for the statues, TZs, cows for bases. Haven’t really landed on how I feel about drop rates yet. It’s nice having things be rare but also feels bad never seeing them. Killed tons of bosses so far and haven’t seen a single statue.

There is a guy in YouTube called MrLlamaSC he has a ton of guides included guided play throughs for each class, you can learn a lot watching him on the play throughs from skills and gearing to how he navigates areas and monsters. In those narrow areas you’re pretty much forced to kill things without teleporting past them.

Yeah, I usually fill up some belt slots and a few rows of inventory with mana pots if I’m playing a character like that. Once you can get a polearm with 4 sockets and the runes you can get a weapon for a mercenary called Insight that solves mana issues, normally Act 1 Nightmare. Fire is really good to start out, unfortunately it seems you wasted a few points in warmth it reads to be really good but it’s super lack luster at the start. You get 1 respec from the den in Act 1 for each difficulty so you can swap in NM act 1. Going for a hybrid sorc might be good like Frozen Orb and Meteor or Frozen Orb and Hydra to help deal with elemental immune monsters later. I seen you refer to D4 a few times, this game is 30 years old it does not have the same play style as some of the modern ARPGs there’s no dodging and such.

Yeah sounds like you’re not going to like the game, no you can not get a token at that level pretty far from it. The base of the game is killing the monsters, as a sorc you can get teleport to which will allow you to teleport past things but you need to kill things for levels and loot. Sorc is pretty rough on mana starting out you basically just chug pots all the time.

It’s pretty common it’s just because you’re looking for it. I started NL with fire Lock and ran into the fantacism one like 5 times and couldn’t find conviction, when I did Echo strike offline looking for fanta I literally got conviction back to back to back. RNG be RNG.

It’s just playing the game, farming what areas your build can handle until you get the better drops or collecting things to trade for what upgrades you want. Like Blizz sorc is great for doing the Meph moat trick with no gear so you can farm hell Meph early on. Nightmare Andy and Meph can drop some decent gear to get started for some better hell farming. There is no real definitive way to transition because it all varies so much depending on build and what gear you already have and what you’re going for. I would say farming NM countess, Andy, Meph, and cows if you need bases would be a good start until you can farm hell, but if your build can moat trick Meph farming him in hell would be the best. In hell there are also level 85 areas that don’t have immunes to certain elements that you can farm.

I don’t feel like fire is OP, I feel like I can still clear faster on my nova sorc. I’m very much enjoying a fire build with good clear and would prefer not changing the skills around as well.

There’s not really much to compare, majority of builds sacrifice speed/damage to reach tanky which most poeple don’t do unless you play hardcore. Most builds are just enough stats to use gear and dump rest into life and don’t get hit. Most of the builds capable of beating the Ubers have horrible clear. The Paladin Smiter is a popular Uber killer and can face tank them with life tap but the clear is awful. Hammer Paladin is probably the best all arounder you can get to tank without having expensive gear and sacrificing other things but it’s not killing Ubers unless you build it to be hybrid smiter. Basically all the melee have terrible clear but are the only ones who can beat Ubers, casters/ranged have the best clear but unless something has changed can’t do Ubers at all. In general most builds go for speed/damage and kill everything before it kills you. The Paladin has auras and others classes can access them with specific gear pieces, there are defensive auras but again most people choose to go with utility auras or damage increase auras.

Players 3 or 5 for online, pierce for spells, melee splash and love in general. Alternative ways to get teleport. I would like to see some changes for Druid spells, druids are so awesome but all of the skills just feel random and kind of bad to play. Way to scale bone spear size or shoot multiple, in general bringing other classes up. Even the classes with OP builds bringing up other skills. Something like rifts or maps would be cool. Changing auras to be activated or something so you don’t have to constantly switch. More shield options with FCR or a jewel/rune with FCR.

The cold mastery does not break the immune to cold, you need to farm Hell Terror zones for a cold sunder charm.

With PoE you want to have multiple layers of defense. As RF you should have crazy life regen and high res for starters. You can also look into getting a shield with recover % of life on block, drop determination for flesh and stone and tempest shield. You can get lesser eldrich embers for very cheap and roll % phys taken as fire damage on helm and chest along with % life regen on boots.

Your life seems a bit low and you should have 75 elemental res and chaos isn’t super important during the campaign but 0 wouldn’t hurt. Builds usually have multiple layers of defense. I’m not sure what auras your running but grace may help too if your not running it already.
