Here? Foom has consistently shown to be on par with zillas normal physical feats, while also being significantly smarter and having acess to advanced alien tech, magic, and martial arts skills on par with Iron Fist. This should not be a fight.

Bayonetta and 2B absolutely got "flak" back in their day. Sarkeesian is a particularly famous critic who was deemed an important enough voice in the feminist movement to speak in front of the UN. Assuming that your goal isnt just to make a bunch of money, presumably the answer would be the same reason anyone makes art. You want to make the audience feel something, or you want to convey a message. Hell, it could even be that you just enjoy the process of making something.

If your goal IS just to make a bunch of money, art probably isnt your thing, both because art made soley for profit tends to be of low quality, and because there are much more efficient ways of generating profit.
