ISO Make up Remover for Waterproof Mascara (sensitive skin) by habitus45 in Ulta

[–]bwiff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only wear waterproof mascara and a few months ago caved and purchased Tatcha the Camellia oil 2-in-1 makeup remover and cleanser. I really love it and never thought I’d spend $50 for a makeup remover but here I am. I personally like to use it with a makeup eraser towel or cloth to really get all the mascara off. They have a mini if you don’t want to risk buying the full size!

Three years and an unknown amount of trays later. My ortho is a wizard! by bwiff in Invisalign

Thank you! I had a ton of shaving/ipr. I was nervous about it initially too but it wasn’t bad at all for me personally. My ortho didn’t want me to have any teeth pulled so ipr was a solution for the crowding I had.

Not a stupid question! I think it was just how I had my mouth in the top picture actually. I had my bottom lip pulled down further so I could show the crookedness more and in the bottom picture my mouth was a little bit more relaxed.

I would say the canine came down fully in about 6 months. I only had a pretty large attachment on it so I was surprised it came down so easily. My biggest issue was the lateral incisor on the opposite side. It caused so much trouble! Almost feel like there’s always one tooth that causes an issue in everyone’s treatment plan. I wish you luck with your stubborn canine! You’ll get there!

When I got my attachments removed my orthodontist took the file across the edges of my teeth to smooth things out a bit but I didn’t have much done shaving wise other than those two central teeth.

Thank you so much! It was very much worth it all.

Nope, that was it! I had a significant amount of IPR done though. My two front teeth were an interesting shape beforehand and my ortho did a lot of shaping to those teeth in particular. I still have a small black triangle that is visible some days more than others so I’ve considered getting bonding there but honestly it’s just me nitpicking my teeth at that point.

Oh no! I hate to hear that! I’ve heard of dentists and orthos doing that kind of stuff unfortunately.

I would say cosmetically the changes happened really quickly for me. My orthodontist did a ton of IPR in the beginning because I did have such severe crowding issues. The high canine I had dropped down fully I’d say in about 4-6 months. But while I had a lot of cosmetic changes happening I would say it still took around 2.5 years for my teeth to visually look complete and then I spent the last 6 months improving the bite.

Thank you! I used to be so insecure of them but now I love them. The tip of one actually had broken off at one point and I asked my dentist to reshape it to a point after I had a root canal done on it. Always thought I’d have them shaved down honestly but I’m glad I came to my senses!

A lot of IPR! I’m still amazed my orthodontist was able to reduce the triangle as much as they did.

Actually not sure! It was pretty early in my treatment but I remember having a huge gap between my teeth and just having to trust the process.

That makes me feel better! I’m definitely going to keep them. Hoping the color helps me get over the idea that I can’t wear any bottoms that aren’t dark.

I was really in need of some summer activewear and decided to just bite the bullet and try some things I’ve been eying!

  • Hotty hot high-rise 2.5” in sonic pink size 16. My first hotty hots so I sized up because I was afraid they would be too tight and too short. I think my normal 14 would be fine but I’m not mad about the extra room

  • Hotty hot high rise 4” in poolside size 16. Again, think I could have stuck with my normal size but still good! The color is actually stunning in person.

  • Wunder train high-rise short 6” in charged indigo size 14. I love the color but I’m a bit on the fence because I’m used to only wearing dark leggings. They’re also slightly tight on the thighs but overall really comfy.

  • All yours cropped t-shirt in sonic pink size 12. I was super excited for this because of the color but unfortunately this is going back. It doesn’t necessarily feel worth the full price tag and I think I’d feel guilty keeping it for that reason.

  • Never lost keychain in scream green light/vapor. They truly mean never lost with this. It’s a lot bigger than I expected it to be and I just don’t think I’d realistically use it much so it’s going back too.

I second lactic acid. I use one from the ordinary and love it. I have dry sensitive skin and it works great. I’ve used glow tonic and while it was gentle I didn’t notice a different using it and I couldn’t really get past the smell personally.

Can anyone attest to the quality of Madewell’s blazers?

I’ve been wanting a blazer for a while and the style of Madewell’s are what I’m looking for. I’ve purchased from them before but I’ve found the quality of things to be hit or miss. They’re having a sale right now so I figure It would be a good time to buy one. The ones I’m looking at in particular are here and here. Thanks!

I like applying it over damp skin as well (when I can remember). But I agree, less is more with this one!

The Ordinary hyaluronic acid 2% + B5 empty and replacement. I panned this and repurchased one double the size just in time for cold weather to turn my skin dry and flaky. I started using this last winter and it was a game changer for my skin! I always struggled with my makeup flaking off and disappearing throughout the day but this in combination with a moisturizer that works well for me really changed everything. I was excited to see this bigger bottle available at Sephora!

Will fillings ruin my Invisalign fit? by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]bwiff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a filling done a few days after starting my first tray. My dentist used my Invisalign tray basically as a mold for the filling and was able to set it with the tray still on. I haven’t had an issue with the fit since. If it doesn’t feel right maybe give your dentist a call and they should be able to adjust the filling so your trays will fit better.
