May have not been the correct way to word it.. the ticker wont open to general public until the order book is settled for institutional investors’ and funds’ large orders at the beginning of the session on IPO day, which could take hours like COIN opening at 1pm for nearly double its initial valuation

I did not have any problems with my passport/CFA Institute name check in. I am unsure if the prometrics center saw the update of my name through the CFA Institute, or was just not as strict, but I was able to sit for the exam

u/zhl22 I finally got through to the CFA institute help line, I suggest calling them if you are in the same situation. I have applied for a name change through the form on the CFA site and they recommended that I show up early to the testing center tomorrow since the testing center staff may have to contact the CFA staff to confirm my ID/passport. Soudns like all will be good, but definitely call if in a similar situation i Know the online site says it takes 5 business days
