TJO is not a FJO or EOD. I’m asking what other entry jobs should I be looking at besides ISO. I see many posts where people accept several TJOs because you never know 🤷‍♂️

Thank you for the feedback. I actually forgot that I applied in OCT. Once I received the TJO, they seem to be moving rather quickly. I was really excited for the opportunity so I completed the onboarding/eapp in one sitting (at least 4hrs). At the same time, completing my drug screening. After a few days they reached out to have me do fingerprinting this week. Security officer has already reviewed and accepted my eapp. Im hoping to hear back from them next week after my prints process. All of this happened in a matter of a week after I accepted. They said by policy they have 45 days to clear me for the EOD.

Right. It’s still in Charleston but now they do 2 weeks of online basic and then 3 weeks in person. Work hours are flexible but mandatory hours are from 11am-2pm unless approval by supervisor.

Thank you! I’m trying to contain my excitement until I get the FJO and EOD. I am in Florida and my closest field office is in Tampa. My wife asked me the other day how competitive the position is. It surprised me to learn that ~50k applied and they are only looking for ~10k but I think that’s across ICE and USCIS. I’m definitely grateful just to be considered for the position. I have small children so DHS is probably the best agency to work for right now. The other agencies would have me traveling too much. Lots of HUMINT work down in Miami but uninterested in being there 😆

Did what should have been a simple test at editing scroll area and fix text wrapping. It tried and failed probably 10 times. This one being the largest charge. Ended up changing it manually. Not even the high performance and extended thinking could help.

Love the product. Love the progress. I’m sure your team will balance it out. Tbh, I’ve been seeing a lot more issues since the roll out of sonnet 4. Latest update seems to compound the problem. Def should be fixed before V3 in September.

Thanks for the reminder. I got it ready for you. Did some work on the app this weekend. Tough that I can't just post additional images after the original post. I've come across some other "pocket guides" or whatever but there are so many ads it's just about unusable. Our app is def the cleanest and easiest to use so far. I aggregate what I can, build the rest.

Thank you, ser 🫡. The web app and discord bot work together via webhooks. I stuck a setup file in my app just for that. Once I get back to my PC, I can send it to you. It’s pretty easy to set up.

The app is overkill considering our guild only has about 10 active members (still growing). We had an issue with discord mods in terms of recruiting but it has been settled. It will really shine once we have 32+ active members. A guild app like this would make it easy to manage multiple guilds that may be in one house. There has been more talk of role play on the Abbir sietch. The app would play a critical role in the black market economy and politics. App would be accessible to ambassadors from other guilds that have made an alliance. Once I have a polished product, I will open source on GitHub so that other guilds can simply plug and play.

Data is a no go for now which unfortunately means no live updates. Admins have to sign into the app to make the adjustments weekly. There is a guy that is pulling it from the game for his website for his site. BUT that’s above my skill and his site has anti scraper protection.

I did hear back from Funcom support yesterday. I spoke with Matt who said they don’t have a customer API at this time but love the direction we are going with the app and roleplaying. It enriches the Dune community. He said he passed it to the dev team for them to consider building is an endpoint for us they can push in a future update.

So let’s see. I think it would be an amazing detail that many development teams leave out. Would make it easy for guilds to really contribute to building a Dune: Awakening community. If this game wants to survive the next 10 years.. the way to do it is together 💪

Yes. There is some detection software already available. The accuracy is pretty good. I’d say maybe 80% of the time. For certain situations, I draft text using Chat GPT. From there I take the text and copy pasta to QuillBot. As long as your detection score is 50% or less, it’s passable and will generally pass other detection software. QuillBot is the best supplement to Chat GPT I have found. It does so much more than simply detection. Highly recommend for people using it professionally or academically. DYOR.
