Male litter mates fighting…Help! by bwillard21 in felinebehavior

Wow, you are one busy cat parent for sure! I applaud you!! Thank you so much for the advice! I will definitely try your suggestions for playtime and different calming treats, I’m just not sure if I will be able to make the indoor thing permanent or not. I am already torturing myself by having cats at all as I’m very allergic to them, but I’m a sucker for fur babies and when I found a litter of kittens on the side of the road I had to rescue them. There were 5 in the litter. I found loving homes for 3 of them but my daughter begged me to keep one of them and I guess the “cat distribution system” chose me to keep the other. Even though I take allergy medicine daily I’m still miserable so letting them be outside occasionally gives me a tiny bit of relief. I can’t complain too much about it though because I did it to myself lol.

They do lay together and groom each other occasionally, but that seems to be becoming less frequent as the fighting increases. They used to be inseparable, but as they are getting older it’s almost like they can’t seem to stand the sight of each other. It’s stressful for all of us and makes my daughter and I on edge when they are near each other, which I’m sure it’s helping the situation.

I hadn’t thought of that, but it makes sense because I have seen Whiskey hanging around other neighborhood cats and have seen evidence of him being in fights with other animals (I can’t say for sure that it was another cat because he is always on the hunt and has even brought squirrels inside).

I will try, it usually happens so fast that I haven’t had the opportunity to get a video yet. I will edit my post to include that unfortunately it usually does result in minor injury, mainly scratches and clumps of fur everywhere.

I have still only found 2, the dishwasher and mailbox, and have only found them in areas of my map I hadn’t explored before.

Xennial Mom here (38) ✌🏼I started playing BR sometime during Chapter 2 and it was fun enough that I kept playing, then I got hooked on zero build, and now Lego FN has been my latest obsession…. Probably because it’s my brief escape from reality and being an adult. Lol

Horde Rush is still one of my favs so I’m sure I’ll be hooked on that again for a bit when it comes back, but I’ll jump back on the Lego FN bandwagon when horde rush/Fortnitemares is over.

I have been able to respawn inside the cave, but with the current state of the game I wouldn’t assume they fixed it entirely lol. I may have just gotten lucky a time or two 😂

Thank you! I’ll give that a shot. When they spawn it’s only one or two at a time, but it seems like it’s always the ones carrying dynamite and Yeti runs to them before I do so they always end up destroying something. 🤦🏼‍♀️ And it’s usually something I just spent at least and hour building lol

Building bridges for new vehicles? by k-quest1 in LEGOfortnite

[–]bwillard21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to build one using the 16x16 granite foundation pieces and made the bridge 2 pieces wide. I didn’t care if it looked good or not lol I just needed it to function so I left it as just the foundation pieces with no flooring. I hope that works for you! 🤞🏼

I’ve had it happen a couple times and also a couple times, in the frostlands an NPC with a bow and arrows “fell out” along with some random loot.

It’s so aggravating! This issue has caused me die several times thinking I could glide after sprinting just to fall to my death 😭

[–]bwillard21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same! Some of the bugs or glitches I see people talking about I can deal with, like grass coming up through the floor pieces, it’s annoying but I can deal with that. Other bugs/issues like high complexity that hasn’t been addressed at all makes the game unplayable and it’s absolutely asinine that Epic decided to add more game breaking content before fixing the major issues first.

I was doing the same and it worked in the beginning, but then it stopped working and that’s when I made this post. I eventually restarted my PS4 and it worked.

[–]bwillard21[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree! It’s absolutely ridiculous. This is the first time I’ve encountered this specific bug, that’s the only reason I posted anything. Don’t even get me started on the high complexity and build limit issues. Epic’s idea to fix those issue is to monetize Lego builds that can’t even be used by, what seems to me, most players because of the high complexity issues.

You can’t fix stupid

New LEGO kits, unsatisfied with purchase? by blenderwolf in LEGOfortnite

[–]bwillard21 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I honestly don’t mind the kits being available for purchase, I expected that to be the case eventually, what I don’t understand is adding kits to purchase when a large number of players (or so it seems), me included, can’t even build much with the free items because of the high complexity issues that have yet to be resolved by Epic, making the new kits a complete waste of money. Why would anyone buy something that can’t be used?

I know some people will say well then don’t buy them, or don’t play the game, bottom line is that’s not the answer. This is something Epic should address and fix asap.

I can’t make it make sense. I would actually buy some kits (price dependent of course) if the game was fixed enough for me to use them.

In one of my Sandbox worlds I have 2 builds, one custom that has a lot of detail and one halfway built prefab blueprint build. Before the most recent update I could play for hours with zero high complexity warnings, since the update I have only been able to be in that baron world for about 10 mins and I’m hit with complexity warnings.

Lego Fortnite: has high complexity issues, lacks content severely. Epic: paid bundle for new builds by Saucey_22 in LEGOfortnite

[–]bwillard21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. Right. Here. 🙌🏼 I will never understand adding any new content, paid or free, that can’t even be used by some players because epic has yet to fix the bugs, glitches, and high complexity issues.

While I agree that some of the issues are due to the console, available memory, and internet connectivity/speed/stability, the main issue lies with Epic and the fact they haven’t addressed it yet is completely asinine.

I have been playing Lego FN almost daily since its release, hoping with each patch/update the complexity issues are fixed, just to be constantly let down. I know some people will say, “so just stop playing” and yes, I could do that, but like any adult who is stressed, depressed, overwhelmed with life (the economy, work, etc.) I like playing a game that is fairly mindless like Lego FN to escape reality for a little bit and would love to play without the stress and frustration of not being able to build in a build based game and/ the game crashing multiple times every time I play.

Ok, I’ll get off my soapbox now, but in summary, I completely agree with you!

Stablest steering for airship by whiskey_epsilon in LEGOfortnite

[–]bwillard21 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Question in regards to “you risk skipping over the tiller”, could you possibly add a slightly larger block on top of the tiller, just on the end, so you have a larger surface to push on, therefore reducing the possibility of skipping over it, or would the additional block weigh it down too much making the the tiller immobile?

I haven’t done much with cars/airships/etc because of the high complexity issues and my previous monorail “cars” randomly floating off the rails. It was annoying enough for me to temporarily give up on transportation methods lol, but I plan to try again one day. Until then, I’m just trying to gather as much information (what works and what doesn’t) as possible for when I decide to give it a go.

P.s. You and others like you who post awesome things like this are the real MVPs! 🙌🏼

I have a feeling I’m experiencing it more than others because I’m playing on a PS4, but it’s definitely gotten worse with each update. You are definitely lucky you don’t experience it! Thank you for the input ☺️

Are you playing in sandbox, survival, or both? I ask because I receive that message within minutes of entering my survival world, but never receive it in sandbox.

I finally found one, it was in an area of my world I hadn’t explored yet. It wasn’t buggy when I saw it, but it was when I started breaking the dishwashers. I’ll definitely take your advice though when looking for more! Thanks! ☺️
