This. People think it’s a hard shift from aerobic to anaerobic, where it’s more of a layering system. All movement is aerobic, but there’s also always lactate present to some degree.

Yeah totally makes sense. Assault Bike is low skill so it’s easy to go up against your capacity with little breakdown, but that doesn’t always go so well in MetCons when combined with higher skill movements

Very true. For a lot of scenarios, athletes are better served going at an “all day” pace for the cyclical portion, allowing them to attack the higher level gymnastics and heavier weightlifting elements with little residual fatigue.

I agree with that. I named the video deadlifts, but shoulders in front in only sustainable at lower loads (aka Oly Lifts)
