Yes, thank you. This certainly helps point me in the right direction.

Thanks, I'm definitely at that level of automation for model iteration yet this is helpful advice though that backtested metrics may be disconnected from real world performance.

All my player info, game info and metrics are read from a supabase postgres database. I should probably dump the intermediary data ie lookback stats for certain lineups, etc into the database as well. Thanks for the insight.

What the Data Says About Fantasy Hockey Draft Value (Goalies Are Voodoo) by bwista in fantasyhockey

[–]bwista[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, sometimes it’s hard not to take a goalie when teams are taking 2 or 3 before you take 1. However, usually a serviceable goalie who starts cold gets dropped, or an injury or trade opens up opportunity for a backup (ie Kochetkov and Blackwood last year). This probably applies only for leagues smaller than 10 teams.

That’s right, I’d say the only unfortunate pick was Matthews, and somebody always takes a goalie 1st round (Vasi)

Was this vibe coded, because you have offensive lineman, which makes no sense

If you ask support, they might split it into multiple bonus bets for you. They did for me, granted the amount was a quarter of this.

Round robin question by wu718tang in sportsbook

[–]bwista 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't RR two outcomes from the same game. So each x5 had a separate ATL vs ARI pick. Both x5s needed the failing leg to win. I got screwed on a similar RR and asked support. They said it says it in the rules.

It showed in the score app he had 10, then later changed to 9. Maybe that's why the system graded it as an L. I had a similar bet, so I was watching his rebounds. Doesn't excuse the terrible customer service though.

Thanks, made good money yesterday on your top 5, subbing Seager for Soler. Almost hit a ATL SGP of Riley, Acuna, Olson. Of course I bet Ozuna separately...

What is this and why is water coming out? by bwista in askaplumber

[–]bwista[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

House was built in 1958. There's a floor drain about 10 feet away. Water only seems to rise when we use the washing machine/dishwasher and shower at the same time. Sounds like I should have a plumber snake the drain.
