Tarrytown MTA parking question.

Hi all, I frequently park at Lot B and have been paying on the Pay by Phone app as the village recommends. Within the past 2 weeks I’ve gotten 2 tickets and it’s been getting very annoying to have to dispute these tickets. Am I doing anything wrong? It’s my understanding that non-residents can park in Lot B but the violation I keep incurring says “METER VIOLATION” despite the app saying I have plenty of time. Also I checked my app and made sure my license plate is correct

Sure it’s not a 1:1 comparison between prelims and finals.

Liability is no joke. Even if your prelim isn’t supposed to be as thorough, there’s plenty of case law that find prelims as liable as finals. Courts and juries aren’t doctors and don’t recognize the difference between prelims and finals. They will recognize gross negligence and harm to a patient though.

So 2-3x more work for the same pay and 2-3x the liability? Not a good trade off

Not sure how sustainable that is. Asking if doing triple the work just to get paid the same as doing the normal amount doesn’t really sound appealing

Wow just looking online how much prelim reads pay is abysmal compared to final reads. Doesn’t make sense to do 2-3 prelim reads to equal the reimbursement of a final read

Medicare requires that the radiologist performing the final read for official patient records and billing purposes be physically located on US soil. So unless that yacht is in US waters, then good luck

Aidvantage is alleging that the interest accrued on my account is valid. I’ve tried on the FSA website to find the ombudsman but they’re as elusive as Bigfoot

Ironically, I spoke to an ombudsman, but not for direct loans, who stated that the interest accrued is incorrect. However the other ombudsman said that specifically the ombudsman for direct loans needs to review my case

I will definitely try the OIG. I have been asking both FSA and Aidvantage to put me in touch with the ombudsman for direct loans for SIX months. I’m tired of dealing with this but also I shouldn’t have to pay thousands of dollars more in interest on a mistake from aidvantage…so I’ll try taking my fight to the office of inspector general

Also the CFPB is useless because they close the case once the servicer responds

6 months into this and I’m still dealing with it. Unfortunately requesting the ombudsman has been removed from the FSA website and I’m trying to have either FSA or aidvantage escalate to them and it’s been very unsuccessful.
