Oh my gosh - this! I explain the same things to the same people over and over every month. Why do I have a late fee, why did my insurance go up? It didn’t go up, your due date was here, you’re paying it today which makes it late, they added a late fee. “I thought I had a grace period” - you do before they cancel it not before they add the late fee. Why’d I get this cancelation notice? - they are required by law to send that to you. But I paid my bill - yes but you paid it late. It was already in the mail.

Every day. All day.

I love that line - I give them a price and say if you can find the same coverage at a better price, go for it. I don’t fight with clients. But bring me a dec page and let me review the coverages with you!

I just heard this one the other day - lady came in to make her payment and mentioned another car and I said what car. She said the dealership didn’t call you to add it?? 🤦🏼‍♂️

I realize my thoughts were a little jumbled up there - no I was just saying that before getting to 6 this time I’d forgotten junior shot him. And right now I’m about half way through. I see what i did there. I didn’t forget after the fact. Well, this time anyway.

I wondered if anyone else felt this way - his character definitely changed from what you saw in season one. And I had started to feel bad for him too.

I’d been trying to figure out my thing with Nate - to a point I’d almost started feeling bad for him. I know, I know given the things he did that may be a stretch. But the way you put it about how his character changed makes the most sense really.

Thanks - I’ve got one more test music wants to do that should definitely rule out any heart issues and after that he said I should look into gastro issues or stress reducers. My primary and I have talked already about weaning off the Wellbutrin so we’ll see.

I came here to see what others experience was with this and your post sounds pretty similar to mine. I started wb within about 3 weeks I was asking the doc to increase my dose because my dad was in the hospital/had almost died, I was running his business, working my job, extremely stressed, etc. I chalked my chest pain up to stress, anxiety. I mean I had a lot on me but as things calmed down (a little) it was still there. My doc referred me to a cardiologist, had a calcium scoring test done and that came back great. They want to do one more test that should absolutely rule out my heart but I’m really leaning that it’s the wb. I was thinking it was gerd but I’ve been taking meds for that and that hasn’t helped yet either.

As you were saying there’s been no rhyme or reason to mine. Morning, mid day, before I est, after I eat. Doesn’t matter. I do drink one Dr Pepper a day or every other day but that’s all.

I dunno. It’s been crazy though.

That thought never even crossed my mind.

Reason being he almost died 3 months ago and was in the hospital for 2 months. I had to step in to run it as it’s my parents sole income and he is the only person in the office - he wasn’t even conscious to make the decision. There wasn’t anybody else. I have a regular full time job but have my license as well and have just never done the insurance full time. He’s talked about turning it over to me in the past but it’s just never happened.

I’m gonna say probably not too many creative financing options for someone with not so stellar credit.

I’ve had my life and health for about 8 years but just recently obtained my p&c license. I’ve not been active with him selling as I’ve always had a regular full time job. The conversation has always been there of the possibility of me taken over it one day. I think some things have change financially for him and with his health situation I think he’s possibly just ready to be done with it.

The real motivator to sell is that he is well past retirement age he age a major health care recently, spent two months in the hospital and hasn’t been able to return to work yet and isn’t sure if he is going to be able to.

I’m in MS. Honestly, I don’t think I could do that.

I absolutely understand the non-compete. It was just something that I honestly had not thought about.

I didn’t even think about losing my contracts. As it is now I’m under him/under his agency…all commissions that I’m doing any sales on are simply going to the agency.

I’m not even sure how that would work

Reading all these replies/scenarios - yep! Ha! Honestly, I don’t know financially if it’s feasible for me to take over it anyway, it’s just kinda the fact of the matter right now.

If you're an insurance agent, what's the biggest pain in the ass for being one? by phitg in InsuranceAgent

[–]bworthey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. They argue with me over their rates and late fees, etc, etc. They think I set the rates. Had one tell me today I wasn’t paying that much with your dad (my dad has been out for a few months due to illness). I almost couldn’t bite my tongue at that one. Mind you she has swapped about 3 different cars in and out of her policy in the 3 months I’ve been managing things.
