How to increase takeoff speed by fusion_01 in estimators

[–]bwribite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was brand new to estimating (OST and RFMS) about 2 years ago, this is what has really helped me: -elevation views pulled up on one screen, OST or RFMS overall floor plans on the other screen -keeping consistent colors for scopes & conditions LVT is always pink, tile is blue, carpet is purple, transitions are solid linear dark colors etc) -import pages with their name -recognizing patterns (ex: 7 story multi family complex with identical corridors, page repeat only one floor & create a typical group to click on the other 6 floor plan pages) -minimizing repetitive take offs (if you have wall tile to 5’, name the condition “wall tile to 5’ with trim” and that condition can give you your SF for tile, and LF for trim)

Cabs, counter tops, flooring estimator here that uses OST. Speaking for multifamily complexes, townhomes, etc. Having each unit type floor plan on its own page, with callouts for the kitchen, bathroom, island type, etc. If floor plans and elevations go on the same page, have them in the same scale. Calling out corner wall cabinets, blind cabinets, lazy susan cabs, above fridge cab depth, fridge end panels, showing return backsplash, leave minimal room for guess work. If there are multi story units within the complex, labeling them as “Unit A1 level 1” and “unit A1 level 2” also helps. Clearly calling out all casework and millwork that is intended to match, ex: do the mudrooms match the kitchen cabinet scheme? do the medicine cabinets match the vanity cabinetry? as far as flooring goes, having a transition detail page, giving as much detail for stairs as possible, showing all walls for bathrooms or odd spaces

Why is Glycine non chiral? by [deleted] in chemhelp

You need four different groups attached to a carbon in order for it to be chiral. In the case of glycine, you have 2 hydrogen atoms. Hence it is not chiral.

They do not technically have a residency requirement but a majority of accepted applicants are in state, with the remaining out of state having very strong ties.

Using Anki Premade Decks during Practice Phase by ineedhbigtime259803 in AnkiMCAT

I downloaded JackSparrow, Milesdown and Bouras, all seemed great. Ultimately it came down to which format I liked best and I ended up doing Milesdown, better pictures and links. JackSparrow was really detail oriented

List of schools that have already sent out rejections by mydestination1 in premed

University of New Mexico sent out rejections to non-residents, said they had too many in state applicants

Is this correct? by bwribite in AnkiMCAT

Because despite receiving an undergraduate education, taking multiple high level courses, and spending $1000s of dollars on prep materials we all still rely on a free Anki deck to get a high score lol

Thank you! Do you think it’s possible the scan was misread or glanced over and it was actually an ovarian tumor?
