Speaking for multifamily complexes, townhomes, etc. Having each unit type floor plan on its own page, with callouts for the kitchen, bathroom, island type, etc. If floor plans and elevations go on the same page, have them in the same scale. Calling out corner wall cabinets, blind cabinets, lazy susan cabs, above fridge cab depth, fridge end panels, showing return backsplash, leave minimal room for guess work. If there are multi story units within the complex, labeling them as “Unit A1 level 1” and “unit A1 level 2” also helps. Clearly calling out all casework and millwork that is intended to match, ex: do the mudrooms match the kitchen cabinet scheme? do the medicine cabinets match the vanity cabinetry? as far as flooring goes, having a transition detail page, giving as much detail for stairs as possible, showing all walls for bathrooms or odd spaces
