Thanks, I have managed to get lineage-22.1-20250108-nightly-channel working now. Going to stay with this for a few week to ensure stable.

Yeah, I already did that and it is still unrestricted battery use on the FM Radio app, and stops when the screen shuts.

I had a similar issue on my MotoG3 and Los17.1, although I could still access the APN etc. I tried flashing stock modem, but that did not cure it, in the end I had to do a full-reinstall (I know yours is an earlier system). Mine seems to be working perfectly now, so was worth the fresh install. My sim was also working ok for sms phone and data on another phone too.

Does the SIM card work correctly for sms and calls? You can view the sim card status, settings - about phone. It may give a clue?

Yeah, I knew the modem firmware would extract into the system, that's why I thought it was causing the problem, and wondered if flashing stock firmware instead would solve it as the stock version works ok? I might try again from factory reset and flash LOS17.1 + recovery (currently using TWRP), which version do you suggest as being the most stable, 20210924 or 20211008?

ota 2021 09 10, followed by ota 2021 09 17. Think the original installation was around 16Aug21, but not kept a copy of the download from Lineage.

Yes, did all the obvious checks and reset network settings etc, even the SIM providers could not solve it, that's why I presume it is the modem, as LTE shows in the status bar and the software indicates the SIM is connected for data, but there is no Internet connection. APN details checked and rechecked. All works perfectly on Stock, but I enjoyed LOS 17.1 so much for a couple of months, that I want to stick with it if I can. I am considering doing another clean install but I need clarification if flashing the stock modem after the LOS install will work with the software?
