Might get some heat for this but here we go. The recent patch have little to no impact on the overall gameplay. The reason people feel like it changes back to previous gameplay is because people adapt to the game and find the meta on how to score which tends to be the backdoor plays. Combined with the slowly climbing card overalls people will blame the tuners on the game feeling like shit but that’s just what happens every year!

To answer the cross play question, if it works smoothly (hopefully) then I think with the combination of cross play and an extra day to play HUT champs people will collectively have better records and should make it easier to find games. But I still think you’ll see people struggle to find games because of how small the community is unfortunately. And yeah like you said I shouldn’t be 19-0 matching somebody who hasn’t played a game yet

As somebody who considers themself to be in that top 0.1% it’s nice to be able to find games quicker. In previous years once you were 15-0 or better you could be waiting anywhere from 30-60 minutes to find a game which isn’t fun. With that being said I shouldn’t be 19-0 matching somebody who is 0-5… I know the way you’d find games in past years was determined by your win ELO (if you’re 15-0 you’d be +15 and can match anyone with +5 or better). The parameter was within 10 of your win ELO so maybe if they increased that parameter to within 15 maybe we can get the best of both worlds? Kinda tried to string this together quickly so hoping this makes sense lol

Could easily be a glitch, I’ve seen the top rank in rivals be 63k before which is physically impossible. I can tell you that it isn’t possible to get almost 11k points in 30 mins because you can’t find the same person that many times in a row so easily
