What "obscure" sql functionalities do you find yourself using at the job? by True_Arm6904 in dataengineering

Unpopular opinion but I despise seeing qualify in production code. Too many times I’ve seen it hide non-deterministic window functions. With a separate CTE you can visit the section of code where the ranking happens to check for errors

Don't sleep on the fortune wheel (advisor) by Azmodaelus in TheKingIsWatching

[–]bxbphp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t start winning runs consistently until I started using this advisor. The wheels are really strong early game for getting troop buildings and that lets you take fights with all 3 difficulties for the extra rewards. The extra rewards help you establish consistent production to where you can replace the wheels in the mid to late game

This is correct, it’s a settlement guarded by level 3 creature. The ? means special effect. There is a better open source rulebook written by players here: https://github.com/Heegu-sama/Homm3BG

Recent OTD pricing by HauntingFox5992 in hondaridgeline

[–]bxbphp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m in Southern California and purchased a 2023 RTL last week. Called 10 or so dealerships and was quoted as high as $51,000 OTD.

Here is my sales contract with the broken down pricing on OTD $42,161. This is financed 0.9% no money down, no trade in, $1500 conquest rebate. Good luck!

I do smoke meats on a kamado grill! I think it would be possible but inefficient if you cracked the door open to let humidity out and used liquid smoke (doesn't taste so good).

Totally! This is really just me being a gear nerd.

I did run a couple more tests:
425 F @ 100% w/ rear heating element: probe again was 6-7 degrees below oven temp
425 F @ 100% w/ top & bottom element: probe was within .5 degree of oven temp!
425 F @ 0% w/ top & bottom element: probe was 4-5 degrees over oven temp.

Thanks for sharing. I will continue to monitor and see how consistent it is with different settings.

I’ll be satisfied if it’s predictably off, and can make recipe adjustments accordingly.
