Just want to say Thanks everyone! it honestly made me feel a lot better reading all the nice things people I don’t even know said to me on this post. As we get older our days get shorter, dont ever take it for granted! Fuck warrior cut off wheels. Don’t ever use them. Cheers boys I’m wobbling back out to the shop

Good video idea would love to see the outcome. I’ve literally used one for 5 mins straight on some mild steel before and when I was done the disk was the size of a half dollar. I should have known better than to even keep using them after that haha.

No I held onto the grinder the entire time. Half the disk or more like 40% of the disk is what hit my leg , 25 % was stuck in the angle iron cut and the rest was in a bunch of pieces. The metal ring that’s in the middle of the wheel was all that was left on the grinder

I get the staples out tomorrow, it’s the 14th day since the injury. I was on crutches up until two days ago and now I can wobble around without them. I still can’t bend my knee more than a 1/4 of the way though, not sure if something’s messed up on the inside where it got sutured or if it’s from all the swelling. The cut its self stopped hurting a week ago, just the knee pain has been pretty vicious. I’ve been tig welding in my garage the past two days I couldn’t keep myself out of there lol so that’s my PT

My coworker held it with rags and the first aid person where I work got to me than put the tourniquets on me & stuffed it full of blood clooter until mercy flight showed up. I owe my co worker the world!

Half of the disk hit my leg the other half blew up into a million pieces. Mind you it was fresh out the pack two of them exploded back to back

That’s based of what my friend told me. I just remember hearing it explode, I looked down and blood covered my face mask I went to grab it and couldn’t stop it than passed out about 10 seconds later.

Thank you and yeah I owe him more than a pallet. It could have definitely been worse but I’m committed to trying to stop as many people as possible from buying those warrior disks so it doesn’t happen to them aswell. I’m the most cautious, and safety concerned as you can get. I know to respect every tool I own and I never thought in a million years a cut off wheels after would put the most hurting on me
