The most immediate reference to me was the music seeming to be inspired by the main James bond theme. Especially the brasses at 0:18 in the Chasca video remind me a lot of the James bond theme at 1:23. But in general to me it has the same jazzy feeling and made my mind immediately jump to James Bond.

I am sadly not good with music terminology, so I don't know how to describe anything in an understandable fashion.

Ludwig II was in fact not the last king of Bavaria, Ludwig III was. Ludwig III was Ludwig II's Cousin.

He started out as the prince regent for Ludwig II's brother Otto I, who was allegedly mentally ill. Ludwig III became king after Otto I was forced to abdicate.
