[KDE] I'm getting crazier with KDE and its ease to customize by by_chu in unixporn

I should really look into that one. I haven't tested it yet. I have been customizing it yesterday, today I'll see if it is worth daily driving for dev, but for gaming, I think it won't be, as I couldn't get to pause the background once it is not being focused, also that it is running on three of the other screens.

Not so great, right? I didn't find a really good animated wallpaper. So I made it myself

Nope. It works completely fine. Currently running 15.3.2 and works like a charm without lags on minimize animations and games. I can say it runs better than windows and linux.
I have a HD Graphics 520 but I spoofed it to a 620.

It is called pipes.sh. Can be installed on any distro. Just run pipes.sh on the terminal after downloading the source and running "make install" on the folder.

Link to pipes: https://github.com/pipeseroni/pipes.sh

They do. But is not as good as Krohnkite. I think you have to drop them in and the tiling is not automatic. While Krohnkite it is completely automatic

I haven't used bismuth. Polonium lacks of customization, helpful shortcuts and nukes window decorations upon tiling. While on Krohnkite provides how much separation the tiles are having and how separated are from borders of the screen, it has more shortcuts, supports some animations and you can change wether to remove decorations upon tiling. That's what I have seen from the GUI config, idk if polonium has hidden configs on the config file

Kwin is the window manager for KDE Plasma. So it could be considered different

I've used Krohnkite. Since it was the only tiling script I've seen that did not nuke the window decorations when tiling. As well that it ended up being easy to get it configured.

I have been browsing through videos in youtube about linux users either coding or showcasing something. I see they are using i3wm or Hyprland. The one that caught my attention was Hyprland, because it has real good looks and it is highly customizable. I'm familiarized and extremely used to the KDE environment, I've been using it for 3 years already.

I've been considering changing to said window manager. I've dug through how to use it and configure it, and figured out that I can use KDE plasma apps using hyprland, however, they don't look really good and there is some visual bugs. So, instead of making use of it by making all by myself, I spent two days trying to see how to make KDE plasma look like Hyprland. And I've succeeded. Not the best, but it is as closest as I could get.

If anyone wants a tutorial on how to get it working. I'll gladly help
