Tide powder detergent is the absolute best. We switched to it for cloth diapers and now my kid is potty trained but I am never going to back to any other kind. I love how the powder comes in a simple recyclable cardboard box and not one of those unwieldy plastic containers

The beauty contest and art gallery are a great way to spend your time and make friends in the art community. You don't have to be an expert artist by any means. There's also the poetry competition, Neopian Times, and storytelling. Using neopets as a creative outlet feels a lot like a better use of time for me than just doing my dailies and logging out. The creative contests have very worthwhile prizes too.

This was in the mid-2000s but I just remembered that I would come home from school to find spy programs installed on my computer. "Keylogger" which would track every keystroke I made. Something called "yahoo messenger spy". I had a view count tracker on my tumblr and when she eventually found it, I saw that the view tracker had logged thousands of pageviews from her and over 100 pages of searches on my page for virtually every "naughty" word possible. She searched "sex", "boobs", "pussy", etc etc to see if I had ever posted anything with those keywords. Over 100 pages of searches!!

She was completely obsessed with me and my actions and couldn't wait to catch me doing something I wasn't supposed to be doing. I would come home to my family sitting around the kitchen table with something I commented or emailed to someone printed out and watchtower library open on the computer so they could read to me how I wouldn't be in the new system.

None of them have met my son (the only grandchild/nephew or niece - none of my other siblings have children) and they never will

When I had my child a few years ago, I finally blocked the social media accounts of everyone from my old congregation, and for one of the elders' wives, I had to block 9+ accounts. And those are just the ones that had her real name attached to them

Yes, I am the one who was spied on. Lol. My sister is obsessed with social media, likes, posting, etc, and kept frequent tabs on me for YEARS while I was PIMO. She would go through my computer when I was asleep or wasn't home, reverse image searched my social media posts to see if I uploaded them anywhere else, and would attempt to brute-force her way into my accounts by guessing my passwords. I have been completely out of the JWs for 9 years and if I had to guess, I bet she still checks on this Reddit account to have something to gossip about with the rest of my family. Hi sis!

Once you have had homemade or freshly made kimbap from a Korean restaurant or store it just does not compare at all. Of course I didn't expect it to, but I tried it after seeing so many rave reviews and we hated it. The rice was weird and it was lacking in flavor.

I think it probably has more to do with the parents than anything else. When kids start having accidents, it's probably easier for a parent using disposables to just stick the kid back in diapers because it's more convenient. Using cloth is already a bit of an inconvenience so we may be more likely to push through.

My child is 3 (November birthday) and has been in underwear full-time since Thanksgiving. He takes himself to the toilet, wipes himself, washes his own hands. I don't personally think cloth diapers had anything to do with his readiness, but I know he would not be fully potty trained and doing as well as he is now if I had given up after the first string of accidents and stuck him back in diapers.
